We recently provided tree services and removed a large oak that had significant rot and stress cracks, as well as a 35 degree lean. The tree was propped up by 2 other trees, a small oak and a beech. We were able to successfully climb and top the tree, thus removing most of the weight. The tree removal went as planned, and we were able to remove the tree without any damage to the surrounding trees or landscaping. The tree was held up by a beech, and another oak tree. It was also next to a large ravine and the customer wanted to harvest the wood. We also needed to prevent the tree from going into the ravine so that we did not have to get the crane and pull out the trunk. Overall the tree cam down perfectly... view the photo below to see the results... Stump will be ground when the ground freezes this winter.
